The adorable Lifmunk takes on an edgy look when they are equipped with an SMG. That dangerous glint in the Lifmunk’s eye becomes even more serious when the Lifmunk Recoil partner ability is activated, as Lifmunk will then leap onto the head of the main character and fire its submachine gun at whoever the player is attacking. While one would think it could easily cause some hearing damage from that position, it is a very cool l
Lifmunk won’t be focused on any specific task within your base, and will dot around to whatever one they feel like, but there is always something for them to do. With that said, Lifmunks are often slackers, and you will receive warnings of them not working very hard or just simply slacking off. Maybe that is because of all the different tasks they could be doing, or maybe they just don’t have worth ethic. Either way, if you don’t mind a bit of slacking off, they are very useful.
To help you navigate the rich diversity of these adorable companions, this article serves as your comprehensive guide, offering an in-depth list of every Pal you can catch and store in your Paldeck. We have a database entry for each Pal showcasing a number of key important details in the fact sheet on the top left of every Pals’ page. Cawgnito is a spooky Pal, with the appearance of a plague doctor, including their iconic mask, hat, and cloak. This dark bird has a special Partner Skill called Telepeck where the player can target a creature at a long distance and send Cawgnito after them to perform a powerful Phantom Peck . Teleporting next to the targeted creature, Cawgnito will give one sharp peck, doing a considerable amount of damage, and then they will run back to the main charac
Cattiva is one of the first pals you encounter when starting. You’ll notice the pink cat-like pal standing out against the green environment easily. Cattivas are great pals to catch early on since you’ll encounter them a lot.
Still, gamers are aware of the contour of trends and the mileage wrought by great ideas in this biz, with the largest and smallest games happy to trade, beg, borrow, and steal. Fortnite wasn’t always a battle royale, monster-catching and survival sims have always shared detailed notes over iterative generations, and everyone knows (or should know) that Minecraft would probably never have existed without Zach Barth’s Infinimin
Lifmunk is another great generalist to have working in your base. They have a skill in planting, gathering, handiwork, lumbering, and medicine production. Medicine production is very useful in the late game, when you have the means to create medicine for your pals. This big grouping of skills covers nearly half of all the possible skills a pal can have.
Dumud is a bit different in terms of its combination of skills. They have two points in mining, as well as one point in watering. This means that they are very efficient at mining, especially if you have a stone pit that has infinite rocks to smash.
In Palworld crossplay, players embark on a thrilling adventure to catch endearing companions known as “Pals” and build their ultimate team. These charming creatures come in a myriad of shapes, sizes, and abilities, each with its own unique charm. As you explore the vast landscapes of Palworld, you’ll encounter an extensive array of Pals, waiting to be added to your collection.
Tocotoco is a colorful bird in Palworld with even more colorful habits of exploding. Wild Tocotocos will chase player characters to try to explode on them, and once befriended, the bomb-like fun can be harnessed as a unique type of grenade launcher using Tocotoco’s exploding eggs with its Eggbomb Launcher Partner Skill. While the Pal does not appear too appreciative of being used in that manner, or comfortable, it is hard to deny the coolness of shooting explosive eggs out of a bird at enem
Pengullet is another good pal that has a handful of skills but one, more rare standout skill that makes them great to have at your base. They have a skill point in watering, handwork, transport and cooling. The cooling aspect is needed in your base so that you can keep your Cooler Box going, which will in turn ensure that your food doesn’t rot.
Like Pokémon, Pals are quite distinct from one another, with elemental affinities, attitudinal quirks, and semi-randomized skills and abilities. Pals with hands can often perform more detailed crafting tasks, whereas ice/water breeds are perfect for powering a mill’s wheel or watering a wheat field. There’s some level of finetuning available to situate Pals to tasks best suited for them, but their general AI is remarkably decent when left untouched, notwithstanding the annoying Pals with the “slacker” trait who like to ditch w
And yes, there’s plentiful jank, whether it’s Pals getting stuck in corners, the player getting stuck in the floor, or attacking enemies permanently running into walls. These bits will probably be massaged in upcoming updates, and we didn’t spend undue time on them in this coverage, mostly because it remains impressive how much of the game does function perfectly well, even at this st
