Woolipop Pals are basically giant clouds of cotton candy with legs. They move slowly and frolic across the archipelago happily. Just looking at them brings a smile to our faces, and that pretty pink color only adds to their sweetness.
Ice Pals in Palworld have the Cooling Work Suitability. Each Ice pal can have a level between 1 and 4 for their Cooling ability. The higher the number, the faster they will be at completing the Cooling task. This Best Cooling Pal Tier List shows each teir of Cooling currently available in Palworld.
Lifmunk is another great generalist to have working in your base. They have a skill in planting, gathering, handiwork, lumbering, and medicine production. Medicine production is very useful in the late game, when you have the means to create medicine for your pals. This big grouping of skills covers nearly half of all the possible skills a pal can have.
You will find yourself gathering berries and picking up meat, along with eggs, which all fill more hunger when cooked. At your base, you can set a fire to cook berries that are harvested from your Predator Core Farming plots, and your Foxparks will be focused on cooking all of these, while other pals can bring the cooked food to the food bin for pals or to the cooler box. Without a pal dedicated to kindling, you will likely find yourself with rotted food and sometimes hungry pals.
With that said, your base can also be attacked, so you will want strong but useful pals to spend time back at home. You are limited on the number of pals that you can leave at your base, so it’s worth making sure you aren’t wasting any space! You will gain more space for pals by upgrading your base.
Dinossom also does two tasks that need to be done often, as planting is what keeps everyone fed and lumber is a material you need lots of to craft a bunch of different items that can run out. They are hard workers at the base too, possibly because their tasks are so easy for them.
Quivern is a large, white dragon that can be flown as a mount and is excellent for open deposit base mining. Because it is one of the few pals with transporting three, it can quickly empty the ground of loose rocks after using mining 2 to clear the space.

Lifmunk won’t be focused on any specific task within your base, and will dot around to whatever one they feel like, but there is always something for them to do. With that said, Lifmunks are often slackers, and you will receive warnings of them not working very hard or just simply slacking off. Maybe that is because of all the different tasks they could be doing, or maybe they just don’t have worth ethic. Either way, if you don’t mind a bit of slacking off, they are very useful.
Cattiva is one of the first pals you encounter when starting. You’ll notice the pink cat-like pal standing out against the green environment easily. Cattivas are great pals to catch early on since you’ll encounter them a lot.
Unfortunately, like Penking, Quivern can be both hard to find and catch, which makes attempting to find one with a trait that boosts work speed a grind. Although, with its mining skill, you can also just have it join the line on the stone pit.
Not all Pals are created equal when it comes to producing resources at a Ranch. While it’s obvious that Lamballs and Chikipis produce Wool and Eggs, respectively, there are much better, more useful Pals that produce even better items. Case in point, the cute Vixy is capable of producing tier-one Pal Spheres passively at camp . With the Dig Here! ability, Vixy will dig up random items at the ranch, including Pal Spheres, creating a never-ending supply of the basic Sphere — an incredibly useful thing to know in _Palworld
A giant mammoth you’ve probably noticed wandering just outside the initial spawn, Mammorest is an excellent pal for both keeping in your party or setting to work on your base. With two levels in mining, planting, and lumbering, it’s almost indispensable despite its size.
Fuddler is a short and stubby pal with massive claws and is best for keeping in your party while you search for ores and stone in the wild. This is because of its partner skill, Ore Detector, which pings nearby ore deposits on your minimap.
There are various glittering withered trees around Palworld that contain special Skill Fruits. When fed to a Pal, these will provide them with a new ability , regardless of the Pal Type. This is a useful way to expand the skills of regularly used Pals or to swap out a skill that isn’t desired. These Skill Fruit trees spawn all over the world, and the fruit on them respawns after a set amount of time, just like chests and other loot, so make sure to revisit t
