The main utility for Foxparks, besides probably being the first Fire Pal you will encounter, is that it can be used as a flamethrower in combat, once you build its Harness in a Pal Gear Workbench. This basic sphere is effective against low-level Pals. Using it to catch ones roaming the first few areas in the early game is ideal, as they shouldn’t give too much trouble after depleting their health. Basic spheres can catch larger Pals like Dinossom , but have a lower accuracy rate. A Primitive Crafting Table is also necessary to craft them at the base.
Dark Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Neutral Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Dragon Type Pals. Defensively, they have no advantage over other pals, but will receive 2x damage from Dragon Type Pals.
By the time players reach Player Level 27, their team of Pals should look formidable, and the base will need to have an area reserved for building materials on a consistent basis. Hyper Spheres will feel like the next big leap, as they require Sphere Factory II and cost more crafting materials. Players will also need to begin crafting cement, which is much tougher to gather compared to stone. Using this sphere will make catching Pals like Vanwyrm feel easier than using the previously mentioned spheres.

Now, once the early hours of the game come to a close, Eikthyrdeer it’s one of the more powerful Pals you can catch and will be probably one of your most used Pals in combat in the beginning. Its aggressiveness in combat makes it the perfect partner against your first enemies, something that can only be improved by investing Pal Souls into it.

The cute Lamball is one of the first Pals you will find in a while, and although it’s not the strongest one, its roundness and overall adorability make it a cute partner to have at your side during the first hours. That being said, its weakness in battle doesn’t translate into its labor abilities.

Tanzee is another Grass-type Pal that can wield a gun. Unlike Lifmunk, Tanzee operates independently of the player. He will pull out an assault rifle and start firing away at enemies for a few rounds before it is ready to cool off. The Partner Skill is good in a pinch especially when surrounded by a bunch of raiders at home base. Your base level is tied to missions you can complete, which are tied to your progression in the technology tree. Completing these missions is vital to being able to deploy more Pals and construct new, separate bases across the land, so it’s a good idea to make this your priority.

The Legendary Sphere was oncer considered the best in the game and is still of good use in the end game when players are looking to finish off their Paldeck or catch multiples for breeding purposes. These spheres have a near-perfect catching probability, with most Pals failing to escape its clutches. By this point, players should have their Palworld base operating to perfection, with factories brewing countless crafting materials.
